Do not be tempted by "hot fudge sundae" or "cookies and creme." None of them equal the subtile balance of flavors, texture or pure enjoyment of Chocolate Vanilla Creme. If you can find them in a store, you live in a blessed paradise for enlightened shoppers. Kiss the hand of your grocer and embrace him in warm gratitude. For the rest of us, mail order is the only way to satisfy the gentle but relentless longing for the best thing to ever come out of a toaster. But we must wait, don't we? Always we are waiting for them to come available. Day after day, we wait for the truck. It never comes. It will never come. Just when black crow of dispair circles low to land, the happy brown Amazon box stands proudly on the porch. Bliss!

Chocolate Vanilla Creme Pop Tarts were my favorite flavor when I was growing up... now they are impossible to find in the NYC area. I know this for a FACT... Several years ago my friends and I competed in a MENSA Scavenger Hunt and won. We had the honor of making up the list the following year. I suggested to my friends that they add "Vanilla Pop Tarts" to the list, as I was actually hoping that someone would find them and tell me where I could get them! Not one team actually found them. All of my friends know how much I love them, and how difficult they are to find in NYC, that when they travel to other states, they bring me back boxes if they are available. On a recent trip to Las Vegas, one couple actually found them in great supply and, while our other friends received souvenir gifts of t-shirts, keychains and other various items, I got a shopping bag filled with boxes of Vanilla Pop Tarts! So, when I saw that Amazon.com had them readily available, I bought myself a case last year on my 40th Birthday! THANK YOU AMAZON.COM FOR SAVING ME THE AIRFARE TO VEGAS!!!

I wish I could find these locally, they are the best combination of the chocolate crispy pop tart crust and sweet vanilla creme.

I enjoy Kellogg's Pop-Tarts Chocolate Vanilla Creme hot, frozen, or straight from the box. Easy to eat on the go, which is most of the time for me. They're just sweet enough and I still crave them even after devouring a few boxes by myself. As another reviewer stated, I haven't burnt out on these as quickly as other products. Unlike other reviewers, I had not searched everywhere for these prior to my order from Amazon....but I have since observed that they are not available locally. Shipping was quick, arrived in good condition, and with expiration dates several months down the line....but they won't make it anywhere near that long! (I ordered them on an Amazon special and will order when they go on sale again.)

I would like for them to bring back this pop tart (Pop-Tarts, Chocolate Vanilla Creme) Why do companies always mess with something good? There are to many people searching for this flavor. Bring it BACK!!!! PLEASE

I've never been a fan of Pop-Tarts; but I am a fan of chocolate cake with vanilla icing, so based on the rave reviews here, I decided to give this flavor a try. I'm not saying these are the same as a delicious devil's food cake with white icing; but, if you crave that particular flavor combination and find it hard to satisfy it with most inexpensive treats, you may love these Chocolate Vanilla Creme Pop-Tarts as much as I do. I tried one right out of the box and it was good. Then I tried a frozen one; and, WOW---delicioso! Although I wish the cake part was more of a devil's food flavor, rather than milk chocolate flavor, these definitely calm the chocolate cake w/ white icing craving. I should try one after heating it, but, at this point, I'm hooked on them frozen. BTW, buying them via Subscribe & Save means they cost only $0.23 per pastry---($22.34/96=$0.23). What on Earth can you get for 23 cents that tastes that good!?! Thank God they're so good frozen because, at 200 calories per pastry, you'll want to stick 'em in the freezer and eat them as an occasional treat. But, oh what a treat! Enjoy!!!

Almost impossible to find in stores, this is quite possibly the best pop tarts flavor. Great for portion and calorie controlled snacks. No, not ideal nutrition - but it works for people on the go, or on the cheap.

Be aware that twelve eight-count boxes is a LOT of pop tarts, though. This would be an excellent gift for a college student or other folks away from home, seeking comfort food that's durable in the mail.

These are, like many others have stated, the best flavor of Pop Tarts I've ever had. Loved them as a kid and then they became rare and I lost track of them. A few stores here in MA had them until a few months ago. Now I see on the description page here at Amazon that they have been discontinued? Terrible news. Hopefully they will be brought back. I can think of a dozen recent flavors that could be cut to make room.

Couldn't find these in our local grocery store - had to have them for Father's Day gift for my husband. He loved getting a whole case of his favorite breakfast treat! (so did our daughters)
