From Library Journal
Since Pop-Up and Moveable Books was published in 1993, Montanaro (head of systems and bibliographic database management, Rutgers Univ. Lib.) has continued researching new pop-up books while discovering many books that were omitted from that edition. This supplement covers titles published between 1992 and 1997 and includes books published before 1992 not featured in the initial volume. Each pop-up book is listed in the main title index. Entries present the title, author, illustrator, and publication information and have a brief description of the book, including dimensions, which are useful to collectors and researchers. The date, name, and series index are cumulative and incorporate all entries from the 1993 edition as well as those from this supplement. A list of libraries and museums that hold pop-up books appears at the end of the volume. Libraries that own the 1993 edition will want to add this to their collections; libraries without that edition will need to purchase both volumes since this supplement does not serve as a stand-alone title. Recommended for academic libraries, especially those with children's collections.DMichele McGraw, Hennepin Cty. P.L., Edina, MN
