After that, we had placed the tree. It is very important how you plan the location of the tree. Before we actually had glued the tree we had placed the elements of it on the wall with a tape to see the correct location.
We had started gluing the tree from the biggest branch first and we had placed it well above the crib. In doing so, the rest of the branches had to be trimmed down a little bit because they were hitting the ceiling. Also, the end of the trunk of the tree ended up about 27 in above the floor and that's how we wanted it, and it is in a hidden location. Also, we had to trim down the trunk in order to line up with the level where we wanted to place the grass and the flowers.
As an end result, the tree is well above the crib. If we started gluing the trunk first, beginning from the floor, we'll end up with the branches being too low above the crib.
In any case, the material for the tree sticks beautifully to the wall paint and the mistakes are easy to correct. At least two people are needed to glue the branches. With the tree the nursery looks terrific and we really love it! The pictures are attached.
Everything we needed to install the decal was included. The seller was great to work with and prompt in their responses. They were even kind enough to mirror the image and include a cute little owl decal which isn't pictured on the product page. My wife and I had a lot of fun installing the decal.
This is a pretty large decal but it comes in multiple pieces which makes installation easier. The vinyl is durable enough to resist tearing if you mishandle it. The best advise I can provide is - be patient! Take your time installing it.
