Good Book.,
By Eric Mckay "Movie Junkie" (Pittsburgh Pa) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Popcorn (Paperback)
As a kid I loved this book because it matched my dream. Of wanting to make it big in the music buisness. As an Adult I love it for the nostalgia. And have read it many many times. 12 year old Mark Newman wants to make his band Popcorn a sucsess. And through hard work and dedication to music. He helps make that happen. Wich is the enjoyable part of the story. You read about how one plan will go sour. Only for them to bounce back once again. Over and over untill they reach there dream. The Characters are enjoyable. Everyone from Marks Tae Kwon Doe teacher Roger. To even bully Joel "the Troll" Hanson. Who is a part of the second story line going on in the book. The writing makes vizualizing the characters and scenes easy. And I lose myself in the story every time I read it. If your checking this one out. I highly recomend it. Especially since I am currently reading it again. :D
