I don't ordinarily buy things I see on TV infomercials, but my husband bought the Showtime Rotisserie for Christmas this year and it's the best kitchen appliance we've purchased! Everything we have made in it comes out tasting fantastic. We've done game hens, chicken, fish, roast beef, pork and ribs in it, and everything is absolutely delicious! Clean-up is easy, especially if you cover the drip tray in aluminum foil. The only part that is impossible to clean is behind the heating element. I wish they would make it removable.
Everything cooks much faster than in a conventional oven, and you use less marinade and basting sauces than you would in a conventional oven or BBQ grill. The Junior is the perfect size for 1 or 2 people. Buy the black, as the white has discolored a bit from the heat.
You can quiet the noise referred to in a previous review by placing a drop or two of cooking oil on the gears inside the oven, and where the spit rests (the factory told us this).

I used this for a little over a year,but only made 6 meals with it.The seventh time I used it the electricmotor did not spin the rotisserie. I am an electrician by trade,and after examining the unit, found out that the contacts inside the three way switch that controls the rotation had gotten hot and melted the plastic housing. I called ronco customer service and and they told me to send the unit in and for $79 they would replace it. I told them that I just needed a $3 switch they then said that ronco does not sell any replacement parts but if anything goes wrong they have an exchange policy only.Call them for yourself and you will see. It looks good and cooks chicken well but it can also cook your goose if even a knob or anything else breaks on this machine and you have to send the whole unit in for a rebuilt exchange unit.

We have used the Rotisserie for chicken and turkey. They come out very moist and flavorful. We really like how the fat drips away from your food which makes it more healthy. We are very pleased with this product

This product is as easy as they say "set it and forget it!!" It's true it's great!! Chicken comes out perfect everytime same with beef and pork. I have not used it to cook a hamburger yet but I'm sure it works great. The gloves included provide great protection from burns while removing your dinner. Also clean up is a snap. I line the tray in the bottom with tin foil tha way you don't have to clean the tray, (just alittle tip for you). Try injecting chickens a with marinade of some kind, and put veggies inside and close the hole up, as it cooks it with flavor the chicken from the inside out, and help to keep the meat moist.

This product it just perfect you can't mess it up!!! You WILL use this if you buy it it's fun, and easy to use and the results speak loud and clear. Enjoy and good cooking!!!

We've cooked roasts, fish and steaks in our Jr. Showtime and they come out great. Yesterday I cooked our Thanksgivng turkey in it. It only took 2 hours and it was the best turkey I've ever had. It was very moist and tasty!
It's easy to clean and doesn't take up much space.

This is money well spent! We have used our for almost 2 years now and we have never had a problem with it. We cook dinner for 8 almost every weekend and people rave about this machine. If you want the best turkey you have ever had, put a turkey breast seasoned with Lawreys season salt and you will have the best turkey ever! We have used ours for everything from burgers in the basket to chickens and venison roast and everything comes out juicy and delicious.

This product performsas advertised. I thought my husband was "nuts" when he purchased it, but I can tell you the chicken, shops, burgers, steaks turn out perfectly and evenly cooked, moist and delicious. We have even cooked ribs on it. The steamer on top does an excellent job with broccoli...I have not tried any other vegetable. This product takes up very little space, cleans in the dishwasher or by hand. We have one at home and one in our RV which we live in during out of town jobs. We have purchased them for our parents. This is a great price too,

Simple to use, and good results. Negative aspect is that it is a space hog and the impaling rods are sharp. Not a good gift for the eldery. It takes finese and some strength to load a leg of lamb or chicken on the sharp daggars. Caution needed.
However easy to clean, the spit does well in the dishwasher.
You need to grease the pivot points w/ oil each time you use (I use olive oil). Otherwise it will make and odd sound like whale noises.
The unit does get hot, which is the point, avoid over hung cabinets or placing it in reach of children.
I have always covered the drip pan w/ aluminum foil, and after a year the pan is still like new.

My mother in law bought me this rotisserie for christmas. I must say it's the best kitchen appliance any one can have.I cook every thing in it: Chicken,Pork,Ribs,Turkey,Ribroast,Kabobs
and anything else I can think of.It makes cooking a pieace of cake...
It also cooks in half the time."You set it and forget it".
Meanwhile, you can take a break while dinner is on the way.
But don't forget to buy the black or silver as the white discolors from the heat......and if the spin rods make alittle noise just rub some cooking oil on it and your on your way to a delicious meal.
YOU'LL LOVE THIS APPLIANCE I KNOW I DO.

This machine is heaven sent. I bought mine almost 5 years ago and it still works PERFECTLY. I have a family of 4 and use my machine on average 2 - 3 times a week. It makes the BEST chicken I have ever had, perfectly moist and juicy every time. You WILL NOT be disappointed...
