I didn't purchase this online but I purchased this in stores. For those who want to try this, do not know what to expect and reading this review, I will tell you what it tastes like. The strawberry cream tastes just like Strawberry Pocky, honestly. The vanilla has little taste, kinda like powdered sugar but its has a little vanilla cake batter taste. The consistency of the cream is like paste almost in between toothpaste and pudding but it's still very good. The cone is just a wafer/kiddy cone and the sprinkle are.... well, just sprinkles. I hope this helps!

It was so fun to make. It taste like a light strawberry and vanilla custard and has a thick texture. Smells just like icecream. Its very small but that didn't bother me one bit. It's so cute and great for kids as well as adults. I ordered another one and can't wait to recieve it in the mail.

I love all the popin cookin candy making kits. they are super cute and fun to make, and I personally love the taste of ALL of them. The only downside to these is they only make a small amount of candy, everything is so tiny. This ice cream one has a mild strawberry and vanilla ice cream flavor, very tasty. I just love how the flavor and texture of all the popin cookin kits is like nothing we have here in america, im so sick of all of the usual candy so the japanese candy kits are a refreshing change of pace. not to mention, the customer service of this seller is fantastic. very happy.

This shipping really quickly!!!! I found making it enjoyable and it also was fairly easy to find tutorials for it if you can't translate it. It smelled wonderful, but it tasted kinda gross. They looked super cute in the end, but I would recommend eating it.

This popin cookin was awesome. I enjoyed creating it. The flavor could have been better. To me, it tasted of a fake strawberry. Very creative and very fun to create.

I bought my kit in Chicago' Chinatown. If you're like me and can't read Japanese, just search "popin cookin ice cream shop" on Youtube and there are videos in English that will show you how.

Anyway, I'm adult and I love it! Very fun to make, and pretty simple too. Everything you need, beside a tiny bit of water, is in the box. As for the taste, keep in the mind Japanese "sweets" aren't nearly as sweet as western candy. The ice cream shells taste just like a basic ice cream cone. The "ice cream" is basically like a less-sweet version of cake icing. And the sprinkles taste like regular sprinkles. For me, most of the enjoyment and fun comes from making the treats, not from eating them. But they definitely don't taste bad.

This Popin Cookin kit proves that Japan makes the most awesome and adorable stuff on this planet!
The only problem was that it took like over 9,000 years to ship from overseas, but I had the patience to wait out the horribly long aforementioned shipping time!
The "ice cream" stuff that goes on the cones and bowl had a custardy taste and aroma which tasted like ♪Heavveeenn♪ with the wafers!
Another thing, I didn't even know I had to make a fourth pastry which reminded me of a napoleon with the leftover wafers as shown on the packaging and I must've overlooked the instructions.
I very very very much am buying more Popin Cookin kits in the months to come!
