A beautiful and interesting book,

This review is from: Popol Vuj: libro sagrado de los mayas (Paperback)
I am always looking for Spanish books for my sons in Spanish immersion to read for book reports. This is a beautiful book and the story of how the ancient Mayan stories were lost and then found again is fascinating. The book introduces a whole new mythology and world view that would be particularly interesting for kids who like myths. The language was somewhat challenging for my 7th grade Spanish immersion son but it is reasonablely accessible and the pictures are stunning.

Should be a required reading book, part of world heritage.,

This review is from: Popol Vuj: libro sagrado de los mayas (Hardcover)
Although a translation, and we know that all translations pale in comparaison to it's original, it should be a required reading book for anyone under the age of 18. Just like The Art of War, by Sun Tzu. Although they are unique to their individual gender, these two books should rest in everyone's library.
