Being the huge fan of Darren Hayes that I am, I pre-ordered this single, and ever since I got it in the mail, I can't stop listening to it. It's addicting to listen to. "Pop!ular" is a great song, and the b-sides "Touch" and "Zero" are truly amazing songs also. And the remix to "Pop!ular" rocks! I can't wait until Darren's new album "The Tension and the Spark" comes out here in the US! If you are a fan of Darren Hayes or Savage Garden, this single is something you should definitely add to your collection of CD's!!!

I didn't buy this single for Popular, I bought it for the b-sides. Both Touch and Zero are awesome songs that you can't get on the album. I can see why they weren't on the album, it's not that the quality of the songs are not "good enough" (no pun intended :), but they just don't fit the vibe of the album. Touch is a slighty faster than midtempo song that has lyrics that make you think (the universe has been changed because we touched). Zero, well, lets just say I'm trying to figure out who Zero was written to or at least what he means until your Zero is gone. A beautiful soothing song though :)

ALL EDITS Compliments of "CDNOW"
This follow up to the Smash Insatiable, with the flawless Calderone Mix, is great. Both are just superb. All the mixes are just excellent. Even the "straight community" will latch onto this "Popular" catchy tune. The Maxi I have, is completly different, as there is NO "Amlighty Mix". I have the Wayne G Mix (who works with Almighty Records in the UK)and that is a great just under 10 min song, and the Guido/Osario mix is just excellent, I like that BETTER than my mix by Warren G. who has worked with the likes of Madonna, Kylie, and Deborah Cox(unreleased items to the public) but here is the chance to get this fantastic song remixed to perfection by a few of the TOP G** and G** friendly remixers. As a professional DJ I will purchase an item JUST because a certian DJ has remixed it, I may have never heard the song yet almost every time I am striking gold. I strongly suggest this Maxi single. the vocals are pure and driven. Hope this is of some help 2 U. Jason Prof DJ
