One of the 90s best rock 'n' roll releases,

Is it just coincidence that all the best punk albums of the 90s for the most part were released by Crypt Records? "Destroy-Oh-Boy" by the New Bomb Turks", "Get Action" by Teengenerate, "30 Sizziling Slabs" by the Devil Dogs, and this awesome and flawless punk 'n' roll collection of songs. Why can't there be more bands out there today as dedicated to saving rock 'n' roll as these guys? From "Christina" to "Emergency", there is not a single skippable trashy track. Also, the boys show an incredible sense of humor, as witnessed by the tunes "Guitar Shop A--Hole" and "Do the Milkshake". One of the 90s best, I'm eager to buy more CDs by this band. The true sounds of nu-garage.

This was the best Rock'n'Roll band of the nineties - maybe leaving the Devil Dogs aside. This band had it all - more SOUL and ENERGY than anyone could take. The fact all the successor bands (Cool Jerks, Compulsive Gamblers, South Filthy, Reigning Sound)in their best moments still sound like the Oblivians as soon as Jack Yarber or Greg Carwtwright write & sing the songs shows how much their style and sound were unique. And "Popular Favorites" is their best record. Buy it - THIS is it.
