The surging rhythms and intoxicating melodies with the clear uncompromising vocals of Mr. Pobedinski immediately assured me that THIS is music one can settle into and trust. If you're looking for heart felt, faithful renditions of beloved and respected classics like "Dark Eyes" and "Talk to Me, My Guitar" then you're sure to be impressed by the obvious effort, dedication and alacrity these artists have put into producing this wonderful selection. It is to me the core of what I feel, in my own hoplessly limited way, (I'm not Russian, I'm not Gypsy : ) )Russian Gypsy music is in its heart of all hearts. Thank you very much for the music Sergei Pobedinski and the Gentlemen Gypsies!
