Well if you want your favorite rapper and a sick beat, then look no further, because statik selektah did it again. Every beat is sick, with a bit of new twist, not straying from his own style, but well rounded. If your in need of a new cd that you can listen from start to finish, then I highly recommend population control.

Statik Selektah is a monster on the production. His use of samples is second to none and I really like the rappers he chose to flow on his beats. It's a shame this album isn't available everywhere and that its songs don't get much play on the radio. Population Control is real rap music.

I been listening statik for years now, his last album, 100 Proof The Hangover, release in 2010, was amazing, I thought I would never hear something like that ever again. When I heard he produce population control, I had to get it! I finally got his album today and all I say is OH MY GOD! WOW! Statiks beats are on point! His production is the best I heard in years! He gets the best MC's to split on his tracks. You can put lil wayne, drake, rick ross, 50 cent, young jeezy, kanye west into ONE and they CAN'T rap to this! This album craps on them! This is hip hop at its best and no whack rappers are welcome here! This album will change how you feel about them! In fact, they won't exist anymore to you once you hear this album! Just listen to "Down" or "Your gone" and your hook, its music to your ears! Its crack in a cd! All of statik albums are 5 stars! You dont see wayne or kayne doing that every album! Long live statik!!! Long live marco polo!!! Keep making hip hop alive in are hearts!!!
