5.0 out of 5 stars Population by Weeks Review, May 29, 2004
By A Customer
This is a great introduction to demographics. It provides a easy to read introduction. It is still a college textbook. The author integrates humor into the text, which certainly kept me reading. Infotrac was completely worthless. It was a password to a three-month trial of access to databases. I already have access to databases through other sources, school and the library.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Demography Book on the Market, July 9, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Population: An Introduction to Concepts and Issues (Hardcover)
This is the best demography/ populations studies book that I have seen. The author explains theories, concepts, and popular formulas of measurement in a concise and applicable way. The book is very enjoyable to read and the examples are interesting and memorable. This book should be saved so that it can be referenced as needed in the future. I am very glad to have this text on my shelf.
