5.0 out of 5 stars Population by Weeks Review
This is a great introduction to demographics. It provides a easy to read introduction. It is still a college textbook. The author integrates humor into the text, which certainly kept me reading. Infotrac was completely worthless. It was a password to a three-month trial of access to databases. I already have access to databases through other sources, school and the...

1.0 out of 5 stars Population Text Book
I never received my Population text book. It should have come in the mail over a month ago, and is still not here. I am unimpressed with your service and will not be buying books from here in the future.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Demography Book on the Market, July 9, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Population: An Introduction to Concepts and Issues (Hardcover)
This is the best demography/ populations studies book that I have seen. The author explains theories, concepts, and popular formulas of measurement in a concise and applicable way. The book is very enjoyable to read and the examples are interesting and memorable. This book should be saved so that it can be referenced as needed in the future. I am very glad to have this text on my shelf.

This is an excellent and clear book on demography that has been around for years and is a good introduction to the topic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, great service, August 18, 2010

I would like to start that I purchased a school textbook for about half the retail price from this seller. The book I ordered came three days earlier than amazon said it would. Great price, and a quick delivery. Will order from this seller again.

Weeks is a genius. He came into my population life course class and spoke about anything we wanted to know, and was happy to be there. Which is weird, coming from the academic world.

1.0 out of 5 stars Wrong Item, September 13, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I typed in the ISBN for the Tenth Edition of this book, and even though Amazon said to ignore pictures, I was sent the Seventh Edition instead of the tenth. I had to drop my class and now have a book I won't use.
