I recently got an espresso machine (Delonghi EC 155) so I thought I'd try my hand at making cappuccino. I discovered that the mugs that I have are much too large to fit under the portafilter. I'd have to pull a shot, then pour it into my mugs, which is a big "no-no" when trying to create latte art.

I ordered these, and am very pleased. They are just the right size to create a cappuccino without having to completely fill them to the brim, and fit under the portafilter. I am still terrible at latte art, but at least it is not the cups' fault.

These small cups are just the right size for me I like a small strong cup of tea or coffee. When using Nespresso large setting works well.

I was disappointed to find they were more like 7.5oz (which is a very small difference to be frustrated about but they were a gift for some picky cappuccino drinkers, and apparently there are very official sizes for cappuccinos).

Other than that they were good quality cups, and the return was fairly hassle free.

These are nice thick-walled cups. Should be very good for latte or capuccinos. However, they are slightly larger than advertised. When filled to the rim, they are about 7.0 - 7.5 ounces rather than 6 oz. I could have gotten similar 7 oz cups from IKEA for cheaper. Hence, 4 starts.

Without a doubt the most sturdy and utilitarian coffee cup I own. Unfortunately I dropped one on our tile floor and had to purchase again, but wow, the sheer thickness and weight of the cup speaks volumes. I use one every morning when I have my espresso (double I might add).

I was disappointed with these cups. They look cheap and had many imperfections...such as: discoloration on the saucers, bumps on the rim of cup, and pits/holes in various places. The ceramic cups seem to be of poor quality. I find it interesting that there are no markings on the cup...where it is made/manufacturer...for all I know these cups could have lead in them. I just wasn't pleased with them. The only pro would be size. I bought the two to see if I would be interested in buying two more...unfortunately I will not!

It is amazing how much more you can enjoy a beverage when it is served in the right container.

I was a professional potter for over 20 years. As you can imagine, there is no shortage of cups/mugs in my home! Why would I order a manufactured cup after using only my own for two decades? For a better Cappuccino Experience!

On a trip to Italy, I really enjoyed just popping into a local coffee bar for a morning cup of cappuccino. The cappuccino there was always served in ceramic mugs like these. No paper cups. No big huge mugs. I'd just stand at the bar and have my quick cup. It was so enjoyable.

After purchasing an Aerobie Aeropress, I quickly learned to approximate the cappuccino I'd enjoyed in Italy. But the foam would get hung up on the sides of the cup. You need a rounded bottom and sloping sides to allow the foam to slide into your mouth.

This cup is the right diameter to press my coffee into, and it holds just the right proportion of foam to "espresso", and the drink just slides into my mouth. Mmmm good.

They are solid and sturdy china, and really make for a nice coffee break and some great memories.

If you want to make a proper 6 ounce cappuccino than this is your cup and saucer combo. These are high quality and you will not be disappointed. I wasn't!
