For a Porsche Boxter lover, this is fascinating collection of facts. You will find the entire history of the making of this superb car, with great pictures. A must !

WHEN I PURCHASED THIS BOOK,I DID NOT REALIZE THE INFORMATION WAS DATED.THE BOOK WAS PRINTED BEFORE THE HIGHER POWERED S MODEL WAS SOLD TO THE PUBLIC IN 2000.IF YOU ARE IN THE MARKET FOR AN S BOXSTER,THE INFORMATION IN THE BOOK IS OK FOR BASIC INFO,BUT FALLS SHORT IN HELPING TO MAKE A PURCHASE FOR A MORE CURRENT CAR.

This is a coffee table book, a quick read with lots of pictures. In that sense it is a good book, but for those who are seriously considering a boxter, this book leaves more questions than answers.

Nice boxster history, pictures of the boxster factory, but a little out dates at this time. I would invest in a newer boxster book.

I purcahsed this book on a whim. At the cost of $0.11, yes eleven cents, with the shipping was 36 times more expensive than the book ($3.99), it was a great deal. Be aware, this covers the earlier Boxsters, the 986. 987 owners may not be too happy with it but if you get it for the historical info, then it is still ok. I have a '99 Boxster so the book is a great find for me. It even has a picture of my car on the cover. :) Well, actually one that looks like mine.

Anyway, lots of historical and technical data for the 986 owners. Enough to keep the engineer nerds like myself occupied for a while. I really enjoyed this book.
