Gr 4-7-Designed for young reluctant readers, this series focuses on top-of-the-line sports cars, giving brief histories of their manufacturers and designers, and some fine points on their engineering and performance. Relatively up-to-date (some 1999 data is included), they all have chatty texts and simple sentences. Black-and-white photos depict early models and historical shots, while bright colors show the gleaming, sleek lines of the contemporary designs.
