I ordered this for my 5th grader for school. It is a great quality product. Very sturdy, well made, and lots of room inside and outside pockets. It wheels very smoothly, and has a lot of padding in back of backpack and padded straps for optional backpack use. Very pleased with purchase.

I bought this backpack for my 9 yr old for school. I love it. It is very durable and has many compartments yet very sleek! The quality of the material is very strong and sturdy. The only thing I wish is it having an adjustable height handle since he is not that tall when the arm is fully extended. I will just have to drill a hole in it myself to make the handle snnap shorter.

I had great hopes for this backpack. My fourth grader's Land's End monogramed backpack fell apart after five months and he needed something fast. We saw this on amazon.com and liked it. It was bigger. Seemed sturdy and looked good. And it was great, until the wheel housing fell out of the backpack. The reason this gets one star is, he was able to tuck the wheel back up into the pack and can use it temporarily. Because we know it's only a matter of time before the wheel won't tuck back in. The wheels are pockmarked as well, so not a lot of hope in them lasting. Very disappointing because we'll have to buy yet another backpack and we have no trust whatever we get will make it to June.

I bought 2 of these for my 11 year old girls in January 2012. I got the pink one and the red one. Initial appearance of them was favorable. They liked the look of them and were happy with the number of pockets it has. The one feature I was particularly pleased with was the pull out cover for the wheels/bottom so that if used as a backpack instead of a roller it won't get their backs dirty. One thing I found useful to do was to tuck the shoulder straps into the pocket at the back / top so that they don't drag when being rolled. The one complaint I have about this however is that the bottom of the strap is not removable via a clip like others have. This means that the the strap length must be stretched longer in order to fit flat in the pocket ever time it is stored. If they needed to switch from roller to backpack often this could become annoying to have to adjust the strap length each time.

I hope the product will last as long as other backpacks they have used (or hopefully longer since it is more expensive than their usual one). I will update this once they start showing some sign of end of their usable life. Hopefully they continue to follow my request to always zip the zippers before carrying it by the handle, and also pull the straps to compress the thickness according to the contents, which should help prevent weight shifts when being rolled around and should help reduce stress on the backpack.

My boys, now 13 and 10 give this backpack a thumbs up. They typically have demolished their packs by the end of the school year (picture the samsonite gorilla playing handball with a suitcase) but this pack held up better than our previous ones (not unblemished, but pretty good). It is also very roomy for numerous and large textbooks. recommended.

This particular wheeled backpack turned out to be an exceptional product for the price; very well built and attractive. We've used it for a while now and have no complaints what-so-ever. It looks like it should last for quite a while.Port Authority - Wheeled Backpack

I just recieved this bag in the mail today and I love it! It has multiple compartments with is great since I not only need to carry books but my stethoscope (which I can keep in it's own compartment) and other supplies. I can fit five plus books very easily. The wheels glide and roll very smoothly and it stands up with no problem. The color (pink/grey) is a nice touch and exactly how it is pictured. When I am done with school this will make a nice carry-on bag for traveling.

We bought this backpack for our 5th grader for his birthday in early April. It was supposed to be sturdy, but after 3 weeks of use, the handle has come off! We are very disappointed.
