The Porta-Nailer is by far the most reliable flooring nailer on the market. The nails hold extremely well. They do not split the wood. Because the nailer is actuated by the hammer that is included, the boards are driven up quite tight. It will straighten even the most stubborn flooring. I have owned this nailer for ten years and have had no trouble.

Its that simple. Spend the bucks, and you will not regret it. These nailing cleats are the best way to attach a piece of flooring to a subfloor. They hold tightly forever. I've never had a callback on a floor put in with porta-nails cleats. I own the new pneumatic porta nailer and think its great. Its a little more money than the competition, but well worth it. No jambs or messed up nails. It just works.

Not much to say really, these are THE nails to use with PORTA-NAILS nailer's , great tools , great fastening system for wood flooring. I just wish the delivery folks would handle the box more carefully or maybe they could be double boxed in a more rigid box.

If you want to hold down your floor, these are perfect. In fact, the only negative thing I can say is when I made a mistake, it was hard to get the board back up due to the holding power of these nails.

This was a great buy for a big job, with more for the next job. Like these far better than staples, as they hold and don't allow for much "Back Out" once set. Also get the setting tool in cane your nailer fails to fully set the nail. It can save headaches.

The first time around I watch the pro's lay down hard wood in my house. In the next house I decided to buy a Porta-Nail nailer and never looked back. I just finished laying down hardwood in my third home and I can do nothing but praise the nailer and the nails. never a problem with either

These nails, more like miniture railroad spikes with teeth are incredible. They do not split the wood and hold like screws.Excellent product.
