5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect!!! June 20, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I loved this book. The photos are extremely well done, the explanations are very well thought-out, I can't wait to get started on our little greenhouse. Once I completed reading this book I realized that my daughter and I can construct a simple greenhouse like the one shown in this book,no problem. Any question as to how something might be put together is explained both verbally and visually. I wish more DIY books were written like this one!

This book is well worth the money. It has very concise directions for how to build a small greenhouse in a raised bed for less than $50. The instructions are very clear, and includes a detailed list of materials with pricing. I enjoyed the photos and diagrams. I have a small raised bed already in place, which should be just about the right size. I had questions about whether (or how) to heat the greenhouse during winter and I e-mailed the author and received a rapid response with explanations of different options for doing so if one wishes to. I can't wait to get started!

5.0 out of 5 stars Ready for my Raised Bed Garden June 12, 2012
By Sam F C
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This year I decided to start a vegetable garden which I haven't done in at least 6 years. We decided to do a raised bed garden. It stayed colder for longer than I would have liked this year. A greenhouse would have been very helpful in retrospect. I wanted to find something I could set up for next year and found this book. This way, I can keep the raised bed I already have and add the greenhouse. Plus, I can start my garden earlier, and I don't need a huge greenhouse in my yard.

I like the book a lot because it was really easy to follow. It also had a lot of pictures, which is absolutely necessary when learning how to put something like this together. If your good at DIY projects and you want something customized, get this book. I'm looking forward to using the plans for my next garden.

5.0 out of 5 stars We built it and for less than $50 December 7, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
With winter coming I wanted to figure out a way to keep some fresh vegetables going through the winter months. I picked up this little book and followed the instructions and was able to build my own little greenhouse for less than $50. I also appreciated the advice on the raised beds too, which I have done, I had some leftover lumber so that was no extra cost. I do recommend the water hose trick, (finger savers) for putting on the clamps to secure the plastic, just do it and save the pain.

With the first cold front of the season coming through this weekend, we got it built and secured. We are ready for it. It is nice knowing that we will have fresh tomatoes and lettuce in the coming months. Plus, I'll be able to get a head start on next spring's planting too. A great little how to book that is worth the money, Thanks.

Without this book it would have cost me an arm and a leg to build a greenhouse. I had no idea where to begin. This book is very easy to understand and provides step by step instruction on how to put together a low-cost greenhouse. I'm glad I bought the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Family Project! June 12, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I purchased this book as a perfect weekend family project for my daughter and I. School is out for summer and this is a great time to build our own organic garden for fresh veggies year round. Organic produce is important to our family and there were helpful tips for organic gardeners too. The plans are easy to follow and I know exactly what supplies to get at Home Depot tomorrow. Wish our greenhouse garden luck!
