5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect fit for Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper

3.0 out of 5 stars Other Options Available
I was very happy when I first found this product, as it appeared to be the only option of its kind. However, the dimensions did not seem quite right and I was put off by the $16-17 shipping charges. I found an alternative at babyfactory2u.com. They have 5 slightly different sizes of portable crib mattresses for $26.50 INCLUDING shipping.

5.0 out of 5 stars Life Saver, March 6, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Portable Crib Mattress (Baby Product)
We were given the five way Graco pack and play for a shower gift. The matress made lots of noise from the very start and our child never liked to sleep in it. We travel a lot so this was a huge problem. My mother suggested I buy the portable crib matress. The first night after we bought it my child slept the whole night through. I slept very well also because I could not hear tossing and turning from the pack and play.

3.0 out of 5 stars IN RESPONSE TO: Can't find what I'm looking for!, June 15, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Portable Crib Mattress (Baby Product)
This is in response to the person opening a day care and looking for mattress for the porta cribs. I found a mattress store in Des Moine, IOWA called SLEEPLAND USA that will make a mattress in any size you want. I bought a mattress from them for my daughter's cradle and one for her porta crib. I love them, they are each 3" thick, a lot thicker than other mattresses I found. It only takes them one day to custom make your mattress and they are also very reasonable in price.

5.0 out of 5 stars great suppliment for Evenflow Fold-n-Go portacrib/playyard, September 3, 2001

my daughter bought the portacrib/playyard for her newborn. Once the baby was too big for the bassenet attachment she would not sleep in the crib. The fold-n-go mattress pad was very hard. I purchased the Kolcraft portable crib mattress and solved the problem. It fit well and the baby sleeps just as well as she does in her full size crib. Works great!

This baby mattress is an almost perfect fit for my Evenflo portable crib. It is thicker and more nicely put together than most that I've seen. I have a home day care and will be ordering atleast two more of these mattress' very soon. [...] Janice A. Ash-DeJong

5.0 out of 5 stars A best buy, June 15, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Portable Crib Mattress (Baby Product)
My son has been sleeping in the Graco Pack n Play for 2 weeks now while we are on the road. While the Pack n Play is very comfortable, he was getting a little restless in it. I purchased this mattress & it fits perfectly in the bottom of the Pack n Play & feels more like home. A regular fitted crib sheet with good elastic will stay on too, an added benefit. I wish we'd purchased this sooner.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't Do It DayCare People!, January 14, 2003
By
This review is from: Portable Crib Mattress (Baby Product)
I have 3 Gerry Port-a-Cribs functioning in my day care. Within a couple of years all three of these replacement mattress' fell totally apart. The vinyl was the first to rip and crack. Repairs with tape were of no avail.
Know what I did? Went to my local fabric store and bought 3" foam custom cut to my crib size. Sheets fit well. Cost per crib: less than a couple of cups of Starbuck's latte. Three years later, no problems!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Mattress, September 26, 2005
By
This review is from: Portable Crib Mattress (Baby Product)
This is a great mattress. I bought this to replace the one that came with my portable crib. It was only a piece of foam about 1/8" thick. If I had known I could order a "real" mattress for the crib I would have ordered it for my first child. But at least my second child is sleeping great now. The only bad thing about it was that the shipping cost is about as much as the mattress. But I do not live near a store that had this item and it was well worth the extra expense. I would have spent that in gas if I had gone to get it myself.
Please replace your piece of foam with this mattress!

5.0 out of 5 stars For those with Eddie Bauer travel yards:, April 26, 2005
This review is from: Portable Crib Mattress (Baby Product)
This portable mattress fits perfectly in my Eddie Bauer Manchester Print travel yard(dimensions are 24x38 on both) and is slightly thicker(1/2 inch more) than the other portable crib mattresses that I've seen.
Also, this one is waterproof and lightweight. It can be used in both the bassinet and crib portion of the aforementioned travel yard.
MUCH better than using just the hard pad that comes with the travel yard.
I should add that this also fits graco's pack and play portable crib sheets... which are the sheets I use in my Eddie Bauer travel yard.
Seems to be fairly hardy in construction. Should last at least a year or two of regular use. If not.. well, buy another one. They're only $20.00! Regular moms(don't know about day cares) wouldn't need this any longer than that year or so anyway.
