Disclaimer: The product that I purchased was directly from a US distributor - since I wasn't willing to wait for Amazon to start carrying it. As such, I didn't receive the extra accessories. Since the price seems to be the same, there's really no good reason not to order this product instead of the E11 by itself.

I've owned several previous FiiO products - the FiiO L3 Line Out Dock (LOD) Cable For iPod and iPhone (back when I had an ipod) the FiiO E5 Headphone Amplifier, and the FiiO E7 USB DAC and Portable Headphone Amplifier (Black). I also have several pairs of decent headphones, including the Audio-Technica ATH-M50 Studio Monitor Headphones, Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro-80 Closed Studio Headphones, and Grado Prestige Series SR225i Headphones. So I'm very familiar with what you should be getting out of a product like this.

To put it simply, the FiiO E11 amp is astounding! It's slightly smaller than the E7, but has a similarly excellent build quality. The analog volume knob (pot) on the top makes for easy adjustments without having to remove it from your pocket. And the power is phenomenal!

FiiO has hit a home run for portable headphone amplification with the E11, and this Micca deal gives you a spare battery and external charger for the price of the amp alone.

What a great deal. Thanks Micca!

I've owned and enjoyed HeadRoom's Total Airhead for many years. Adding external amplification to an I-Pod really unleashes the sound, and, with lossless files, puts sonic bliss in your pocket.

The FiiO is less than half the size of the Airhead, and adds two stages of user-selectable power gain (important to match with headphones/buds) and a very 'musical' bass boost. Adjusting bass at the amp saves battery drain from the pod's eq setting.

The FiiO also runs on a rechargeable, user replaceable battery (with the AirHead I burn through AA's every 8-10 hours). Headphone amps do draw current, and will need recharge/replace much more frequently than recharging the pod. This deal from Micca gives you a second battery and free-standing charger - light and compact, so your tunes are never down for charge (E11 cannot charge AND play simultaneously.)

Paired with both cans (B&W, Dennon, Grado) and buds (Klipsch, Westone) the E11 shines with a performance FAR beyond it's modest price. This is no match for dedicated tube headphone amplification, but that said, the performance/price ratio is simply stunning. Even with my 'street' buds (Skullcandy/Koss) the improvement in dynamics and soundstage is immediate and impressive. Strapped (nylon band is included) to a classic Pod, the whole deal fits easily in a suit jacket pocket. Paired with a nano, it's smaller than a solo Pod.

The design rocks - looks like quality gear. Controls are tight and sure. Input jacks feel sturdy.

I use this little amp for my iPhone 4 and in conjunction with my BeyerDynamic DT990 250ohms. Its able to push this high impedance well enough to create some great depth and sound. The equalizer setting was nice to give some extra bass and the gain was nice if you needed some extra umph in the highs and mids. It is easy to transport and the battery last a very long time. Micca even gives you an extra battery and charger so you can switch out and charge the dead battery, you cant go wrong with that. I had the DT990 32ohm cans and those were great as well and loud, but I felt that with the E11 it was just too powerful, so the 250's were perfect. Read around the net for more in dept info on this great little amp, nothing but great reviews. You won't be disappointed. One last note, if you have any cans with more than 250ohms, this amp might not be the best. Because i can easily listen to it on full volume and sometimes itch to get just a tiny bit more juice but at the same time sound perfect where it is. Ive tried it with the DT770 80ohm closed cans and it pushes them way beyond whats necessary. Good luck, happy shopping!
PS! lol, shipping was fantastic and super fast, your experience may vary, but mine got here before the expected date. I purchased the same E11 from MP4Nation last month and still waiting for it, plus no extra battery, buy from Amazon, buy from Micca, AWESOME!

Let me start by saying that I'm no audiophile, but I know something's good when I hear it. I was looking for a portable amp to use on airplanes with my 10-15 year old Sony headphones. I'm waiting for the Audio Technica ATH-M50 to go on sale. My last trip was rather annoying because I was sitting near the engine and I could barely hear my music with the volume maxed out on my phone. I had also considered the E5 but after reading some reviews of both the E5 and E11 I was willing to spend a little extra money for something that seemed to be a better product. While this is my first headphone amp purchase, I believe I made the right choice.

Pros
+ small, can easily fit in your pocket,
+ solid - well built,
+ the volume knob is excellent - the perfect amount of tension
+ great amplification, little or no hiss
+ nice base boost that doesn't distort
+ spare battery and charger
+ the charger also has a USB port on it for charging other devices

Neutral
= a Velcro strap, instead of the rubber band, would have been better
= the charger isn't top quality but does the job

Cons
- can't listen and charge at the same time
- I would have preferred standard AA or AAA batteries, easier to replace on the go
