easy-to-use volume is an encyclopedic dictionary covering 750 key concepts in accounting and finance, economics, international business, marketing and advertising, manufacturing, management, and strategy. Even the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) is included. An annotated bibliography of current books, periodicals, online databases, and organizations dealing with about 50 business topics follows. Appendixes provide statistical tables and lists of major companies, government offices, etc. While it handles essentially the same subjects as The 1994 Information Please Business Almanac & Desk Reference ( LJ 10/1/93), this work by a professor at Dartmouth College's business school treats them quite differently, resulting in little overlap between these two very useful titles. Public, academic, and business libraries should own both.
