I am a massage therapy student and bought the chair to allow me more options and practice different types of massage while in school. The chair seems very sturdy with some side to side wiggle in the seat from having only 1 support beam (still can hold comfortably even large clients). My biggest disappointment with the chair is that it is a fixed chest pad, and though can be adjusted, you can't change the pad for clients who may need an angled pad.

I used this as an up-grade for my old starter chair that I'd gotten straight out of school on Craigslist, I was a little unsure of the chest pad. The picture looked like it wouldn't be comfortable, but for women it is, small or large breasted it fits great.
