Be sure to run a software update. When I fist purchased it, it would freeze occasionally. Now it works great!

TomTom GO 910 Portable GPS Vehicle Navigator

This is my first GPS ever and quire impressed with what they have to offer. I haven't update the map, but it has been a great help in finding ways to get to out of town destination. The only downside is they don't have vast category in Point Of Interest; only the basic category (restaurant, hotel/motel, gas station). You can search for groceries store too, but would nice if it's in their own category.

The most reliable and best.

It reroutes fantastically.

Driving has become a pleasure.

Initially I was more than happy with this machine, it worked well and was simple to use. I added the Australian maps for a trip down under. The machine worked well for the first 45 minutes there and then it froze and turned itself off. I reset, but within a few minutes it froze again. This was repeated a number of times until it simply would not start and came up with an error. Tom Tom in Australia were most unhelpful, and I was forced to buy hard copy maps to get around. I have returned home now but the problem is still unresolved. I keep hoping that one day I will be able to again use my expensive piece of equipment!!
