Two pincers up!,

I saw the book and immediately wanted to buy this little crab and his three friends. After I get my own set, I'll be buying some more for gifts.The format of the book will catch your eye first. It's in the 3D shape of a crab. With each of the beautifully-illustrated, sturdy cardboard "pages" you progress from the top of his shell, to his eyeballs on stalks, to the tips of his claws, etc. It is small enough to fit nicely into a purse. It would also be a great conversation piece for any adult who collects these animals or has a beach house. But this book is not just a cute animal toy. The story itself is adorable. The little crab, trying to discover how many legs HE has, asks a variety other sea friends how many legs THEY have--a sneaky introduction to mathematics, not to mention marine biology. Rating: 5 starfish
