Product Description

This 14 lb. steel platform cart folds flat for easy storage. Base is 19 deep and can hold up to 200 lb. Keep large loads steady with heavy-duty steel construction, rubber wheels in back and strong 2-1/2 casters in front. Platform cart includes two elastic tie-down cords.

My daughter and I were giving an old bulky 35"TV set away to my grandson who lives in another town and we needed a way to move it from her bedroom to the car. We were able to move it from its stand in her bedroom to the cart and to securely strap it on. Then we moved it without any problems out of the bedroom thru the house out under the carport into the car. No strain was made on our backs and the TV was safe from damage especially from being dropped. We delivered it and my grandson who was able to take it up a flight of stairs to his garage apartment by strapping it again on to the cart. What seemed like an unsurmountable task for two women, 81 yr and 48 yr old, was accomplished without mishap. The cart itself is light weight enough for us to be able to handle without straining our backs. Many tasks can be accomplished with this cart for those women who do not have a man readily available to do the heavy moving of smaller heavier objects that do not need the assistance of a big dolly. My other daughter from out of town was so impressed by how easy it was to use that this purchase was for her to take home.

I love the look of this cart. I love that it can take all the weight my travelling office can throw at it. I love the bungie cords that hold it all on.

BUT -------

I HATE those little wheels that won't allow me to push the darn thing in a straight line.

I take my stuff from my car in the parking garage, across two streets and up a handicap ramp, through security and then up on the elevator to my floor. The little wheels either 1) get stuck in the sidewalk cracks 2)spin while I'm pushing or pulling 3) turn sideways to stop momentum entirely. I usually have to repeat this on the way home.

It's frustrating and, in the recent 90+ degree heat, a work out I don't need in my more formal work clothes.

Hope the manufacturer sees the design flaw and fixes for free.......
