For anyone, like me, who is a little shy, a tad introverted, a bit uncomfortable in crowd/people situations, this book is wonderful!!! It is easy to read and carry, and has concise examples to follow and practice everyday. For someone looking to refresh their communication skills, this book is also worth the purchase. Either way, it's a book definately worth keeping on your personal library shelf permanently!!!

When it comes to meeting people and making a good impression, we can all use a little help.

I was looking for that kind of help, and this book fit the bill perfectly. Gina writes in a style that is not only easy to read, but fun to read. The ideas contained in this book jump out and beg you to try them. I use them for business meetings, but I think they can easily be used in personal relationships as well.

I like to get my information and learning in snippets rather than spend hours and hours looking for a usable piece of information. The "Portable Pocket People Meeter" does just that...it gave me the information I wanted in a concise format.

This charming book is truly a delight as it is a hands-on book including tips and information to meet and interact with new people. In this day and age when our frantic and at times, stressful lifes create a challenge to meet new people it is nice to know we can rely on this handy, pocket size book to remind us how easy it is to meet people. Whether we are married or single this wonderful, little book will guide us step by step to meet the right people and offer ideas to get us out of our normal, sometimes boring daily routine. The Portable Pocket People Meeter is an excellent, "user friendly" guide that is designed to be fast and easy to consult. You can even use it for thinking up fun pastimes on a Saturday night!

I was not expecting too much about this book, being a pocket book and only mentioning 50 tips on it (as the title states). But, I got less than what I expected! I could only find like two or three tips in the whole book that were interesting, seemingly helpful or "eyes-opener". Nothing else.

For me, the only good part is that being easily transportable, I could take it to read at the metro, bus, plane, etc. But again, I do not know many more times I can stand re-reading it.
