A Collection of Succinct Presuppositional Thought: A Condensed Sample of the Seemingly Uncompressible,
This review is from: The Portable Presuppositionalist: Biblical Apologetics in the 21st Century (Paperback)
To assist presuppositional apprentices better understand the application of the defense of the Faith, Jamin Hubner's collection summarizes specific individual formulations with essays, contentions, and debates from Van Tilian adherents.
Various quotes, one-liners, debates and arguments, which examine induction, logic, epistemology, and philosophy, are presented for the reader's instruction and delight (many have been seen before). Editor Jamin Hubner's presuppositional assemblage is an extensive resource which states and defends Christian theism employing Cornelius Van Til's apologetic model. Contained within these 310 pages are: * A Brief History of Reformed Apologetics. * Summary of Van Til's "Defense of Faith" and Bahnsen's "Always Ready." * Essay on Induction. * Essay on being Preusppositionally Committed. * Non-Christian Epistemology. * Brilliant quotes from apologists on Neutrality, Antithesis, Facts, Apologetics and Logic. * and a voluminous amount of other apologetic provisions. Additionally he furnishes outlines, concise summaries, and pertinent arguments contained within important debates such as: * White vs. Barker. * Cook vs. Sansone. * Bahnsen vs. Stein. * Bahnsen vs. Sproul. The Portable Presuppositionalist may lack detailed analysis and deep apologetic reflection (after all it's a quick-reference guide), but it more than makes up for this shortcoming in offering a large amount of useful material. I highly recommend this volume for all who desire to be "always ready to give an answer to everyone who asks." by Mike A Robinson author of numerous books on topics such as cults, philosophy, world religions, and atheism. Including: Truth, Knowledge and the Reason for God: The Defense of the Rational Assurance of Christianity or "Presuppositional Apologetics Examines Mormonism: How Van Til's Apologetic Refutes Mormon Theology" ASIN#:1432702890

A Collection of some Presuppositional Thought,
By
This review is from: The Portable Presuppositionalist: Biblical Apologetics in the 21st Century (Paperback)
this work is simple to use and will help those who lack many of the standard presup works out there. there are some clear typos throughout the volume and not enough exposition on many important concepts and arguments. the author has been ineffectively admonished by many apologists on the internet because they maintain he holds some erroneous notions and seems to be unteachable in some ways.
better to go to 1Peter 3:15, Jude 3 and Acts 17 along with: Always Ready: Directions for Defending the Faith intro work by Bahnsen. or another apologetic book such as:Truth, Knowledge and the Reason for God: The Defense of the Rational Assurance of Christianity and stick with scripture and the truth that flows from it along with the many seasoned apologists and humble scholars.

This review is from: The Portable Presuppositionalist: Biblical Apologetics in the 21st Century (Paperback)
this is a nice book for a presup newbie and the author gives you numerous quotes and arguments from some of the best presup writers and apologists. i ate it up, but it was like chinese food, 1 hour later i was hungry again. some errors in the text, but a fine and unique work that should be in the collection of all VT apologists. for a treatment with more depth see Frame, Bahnsen, Robinson, oliphint, or anderson.God Does Exist!: Defending the faith using presuppositional apologetics, evidence, and the impossibility of the contrary
