I purchased this for my elderly Grandmother who is unable to wash her own hair. She has a hard time in tight spaces and can barely travel in and out of the bed. I went on youtube and viewed other home-made ways to wash her hair, but the bedside shower ALONG WITH THE shampoo basin were the perfect way for me to wash her hair without making a complete mess. This was so comfortable for her and the bag actually kept the water warm the entire time I shampooed her hair. A must buy - this is something you can't find in stores (unless a medical pharmacy has one available). You'll have this forever and it can even be used on family members who've had surgery and need assistance with washing their hair.

We bought this to aid in washing the hair of a frail hospice patient. Before, we were using a bucket and a cup to pour water on her hair and to rinse it. The bag works great. The water stays at the right temperature for the amount of time it takes to wash her hair, and she seems to enjoy the experience more.

It is much easier to get her hair rinsed well with this method. The small hose allows you to manage how much water and where it flows. Wish we had ordered this a long time ago. We use it in conjuction with an IV pole for hanging and an inflatable basin, both of which we also got on Amazon.
