4.0 out of 5 stars A definite time saver, but you get what you pay for...
These sprinklers work, but I wouldn't use them for your lawn, unless you have a very small (less than 200 sq foot) area of lawn. I bought two sets, and use them for my garden. The six sprinklers manage to do the job, and make it easier for me to make garden watering a "turn on the valve and walk away" operation.

I bought these sprinklers from Get Organized,...

2.0 out of 5 stars Good idea, poor performance for most common usage, August 17, 2008
This review is from: 3 in 1 Portable Sprinkler System with 5 Spray Settings
Is the other reviewer an industry shill? Reviewer based out of CT while "Get Organized!" is based out of PA. I'm still suspicious. Anyway, on to my less than stellar review (I ordered two sets).

Negative
* If you want the most common all around spray pattern you won't get it. The spray is decidedly non-uniform. These are for the square and round hole selections on the head. Actually, if you look at the picture of the product that's sort of what the spray looks like, water only spraying erratically to the left and right sides.
* You may not want to (unlike previous "reviewer" does) connect two sets together or use quick-connects. These will reduce the water spray noticeably (perhaps with the fine spray patterns it would be OK).
* If you want to adjust the uneven spray you will have to pull up the stake and reseat. A few times of this and you hole is too loose for a good seating. So check where the spray pattern hits before seating.

Positive
* The other 4 head are fine spray settings: three 180 degree and one left/right pattern. These work OK. Again though making adjustments to where the water hits requires repositioning the stake.
* System connects together easily (though there might be bits of black plastic in the orange threads you should remove)
* Stakes are pretty tough (but my ground was too hard and I had to use a hammer and stake to prep the holes).
* Selection of spray settings head rotated smoothly with detents.

Note: Get Organized! Has their own web site where they sell a lot of "as seen on TV" and other cheap items ... just saying :)

I bought these sprinklers from Get Organized, via Amazon. Be prepared for a long wait. The company only ships via discount Ground, (actually a service that harnesses the U.S. Postal service) so it takes a while.

*********

Pros:

* They're a definite time saver. I used to spend an hour (literraly, not exaggerating) to water my garden. Now I just turn on the valve.

* You don't have to spend a big bucks on an installed system.

* You can put them where you want them, and they will stay.

* There are lots of spray options, so you can control where the water lands, to a certain extent.

* They are made of very durable material. (I was surprised that they weren't flimsy.

Cons:

* They use a small diameter hose to connect. That means less water volume. You could get better performance if you changed out the hoses, but that would be expensive, for $20.00 sprinklers.

* You will most likely still need another garden hose, unless what you want to water is within 6 feet of your faucet.

*If you have a large area to water, you will be moving them often.

*If you use them in your lawn, you will most likely leave holes, the stakes are pretty large to hold them in place.

*They are very visible / high profile. They are definetly not "Out of sight out of mind."

****************

Final Thoughts:

Overall a good product, and do what they are designed to do: Take water where you need it, even if you don't have sprinklers installed. They save me so much time, I would definitely buy them again.

2.0 out of 5 stars disappointing, July 7, 2010

I purchased 2 of these, hoping they would take care of my gardening watering problems. Unfortunately, as others suggested, unless you have super duper water pressure, they don't work. Best case scenario, I can get 2 at a time to work. However, my former $1.99 sprinkler head covered just as much area, if not more than these two. I cannot recommend them. Wish I could return them.

thia sprinkler system does not have the coverage as described. we have great water pressure, so that is not the problem. we were hoping to get a result similar to an installed watering system. this just doesn't do the trick. I do better with the old oscillating sprinkler

1.0 out of 5 stars good idea but.., September 16, 2010

This would've been a great idea if the hoses were slightly longer and they sprinklers didn't fall apart after 1 month! They are made entirely of plastic, inside and out. The plastic that holds the different dials types inside the top of the sprinkler just snapped off on two of them, and I never even tried to dial another setting! I guess you get what you pay for..too bad they don't last...

1.0 out of 5 stars Toy, June 7, 2010

If you have a little flower bad in front - yes, it will work for you... if you have enough water pressure.
Three connecting hoses are not those normal have duty garden hoses, and they are quite short. So, in my opinion
any good for a large or middle size garden, lawn. I wish I could send it back but it's used by now, once.

1.0 out of 5 stars Amazon Shipped Only Part of Order, October 29, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: 3 in 1 Portable Sprinkler System with 5 Spray Settings
The details for this product indicate 3 sprinkler heads and 18 ft. of hose line (3 separate 6 ft. hoses). I just received the shipment hoping to set it up today and opened the box to find one sprinkler head and one 6 ft. hose. How difficult is it for Amazon to ship the correct product? Then I discovered how difficult it is to speak with a customer service representative on the phone, and how much more difficult it is to understand a word she said. Very disappointed. I have to return the (partial) product, get a refund, and re-order - probably to discover that Amazon will re-send only part of the product again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good For the Price, August 6, 2011

I received this product in good condition. The product works well and the quality of the material is to be expected for the price. It does a good job for the small backyard that I have. The material of the sprinklers is all plastic and the hoses are of the quailty of "light duty."

4.0 out of 5 stars Cheap product but also exceeds expectations: A+++, July 26, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: 3 in 1 Portable Sprinkler System with 5 Spray Settings
The product is definitely cheap, but it actually exceeded my expectations. The included sprinkler hoses are of good quality, though the hose diameter is a bit small... which means your water pressure "could be" reduced if you daisy chain too many of these together. As others have commented, the sprinkler heads are 100% plastic and are ugly as hell (bright orange)... but for my purpose, I won't be keeping these staked in the ground year round anyway... so the ugly factor isn't really a factor at all. I am using these portable sprinklers in my back alleyway, for a small strip of grass which runs the length of my back fence, where my primary home sprinkler system has no sprinkler heads at all. This was a cheap solution which met my requirements, vs. having to spend big bucks changing the configuration of my primary home sprinkler system (digging and laying additional pvc pipes, new sprinkler heads, etc).

Time will tell how long these last... but you get what you pay for. This product exceeded my expectations... it was cheap and it works.

1.0 out of 5 stars Its a toy, July 22, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: 3 in 1 Portable Sprinkler System with 5 Spray Settings
This product is more of toy than of practical use. I would recommend not to waste time and money trying out this product. The coverage area is pretty small. The water pressure reduces in 2nd and the 3rd sprinkler.

Overall a toy for kids to play with...
