I have for a very long time wanted to have a hand held NES and compared to other systems I've seen advertised this looks to be a good system, however I feel that the system falls short of its potential.
I think it's great that the system has the ability to function as a normal Nintendo would by hooking up to your TV. The system comes with all the cables you would need for doing so and I was very excited to find this out. Unfortunately this is not the reason I purchased the system. The biggest flaw that I have found with the system is that the depth of the cartridge port that makes the contact with the game is very shallow. I have some very old games with contacts that have started to wear. Because of how shallow the port is some of my games won't even load. The screen size is very small. The 2.5" LCD screen is very clear for its size but if you're going to play any games with text you may have a hard time reading anything that you are not familiar with. Because the NES cartridge only goes into the system a little over an inch there is plenty of room for the game to shake and rattle around causing the game to crash. There is a bay cover that can help hold the cartridge in place but mine broke off with in the first few days of use.

The FC Mobile II is a dream come true for me! I have always thought it would be cool to have a portable NES, and now I have one! The games fit into it very well and it holds them tight. The screen is bright, although it would have been nice to be able to adjust the brightness. The screen is only 2.5 inches and I wish it was bigger. Sometimes it's hard to read the words on some games, but its okay. I tried out the wireless controllers and they feel good and work well as long as you have them pointing at the unit. Some of my games did not work on it: Dragon Warrior, Hydlide, Ultima Exodus, and Willow. That's okay though all my other games work! Anyways, overall its still a great way to play NES games on the go.

NES carts are nearly 25 years old and the FC Mobile 2 should realize that. There is way too much wiggle room with the cartridge slot, so games are frequently cut short when the pins lose connection.
I didn't care about the gun and the two wireless remotes... I thought this would be great, but I ended-up returning it because it's pretty much worthless. You'd be better off buying a portable dvd player and hooking it up to an original NES.
