fabulous pictures of NYC immigrant life!,

I've not read the text yet but this book is worth the price for the photographs alone! Wonderful evocative photographs, and if you have relatives that hail from these parts, as so many of us do, these pictures will be especially interesting. I only wish my relatives that lived in this area were still around for me to share this book with, and ask questions.
