Does anyone think Amazon will match this?

I'd like to say that Amazon would, but I doubt it. I don't remember Amazon doing a deal like that. I could be wrong. I remember I got Killzone 3 and Bulletstorm for the $20 credit for each.

Also...I got the tournament edition for MK and I will support Amazon since I shop from them more.

If there were any Toys R Us around I'd do that, but ALL of them within a reasonable driving distance have gone out of business. I'll get both, but a free $20 is pretty damn good insentive to pre-order.

Hmm, I actually have both Portal 2 and Mortal Kombat pre-ordered right now through Amazon. So I might as well go for that Toys R Us Offer.

This assumes a 9% tax rate (mine) and that you don't pay amazon tax where you live.

TRU: 120 + tax = 130.8 - $50 TRU gift card = $80.80
Amazon: 115 - $30 Amazon credit = $85

So the Toys 'R Us deal is only $4.10 better. And how valuable is a $50 gift card at TRU on their typically overinflated prices nowadays anyway?

And keep in mind your immediate out of pocket expense is about $16 higher with TRU.

Nevermind that at $3-$4 gallon you'll likely offset that cost in your roundtrip to TRU assuming you even have one nearby. Mine happens to be about 11 miles away, so almost exactly a gallon. And if you don't spend that TRU gift card immediately... more gas for the next trip!

Plus when you do finally spend that $50 TRU card, you'll have to pay tax on whatever you buy with that gift card.

Deal? I think not!

kmart offers a $15 gaming coupon with the purchase of any gaming software totaling $40 or more. Also, if you spent $120 on gaming software (which could be mortal kombat and portal 2), you receive a $60 coupon back. Also, for buying either one of those games, you get $10 off a $20 PSN card. So if you just bought mortal kombat, you would get a $15 gaming coupon and $10 psn card worth $20. There just isnt an exclusive costume offerer

Where did you find this? I went to the site and found nothing about it on kmarts website. Is it at the brick and mortar store only?
