The Porter-Cable 4-1/2-Inch 20-Tooth Thin Kerf Riptide Saw Blade reduces drag on the motor, allowing the saw to cut more effectively. The teeth are made of fine-grained tungsten-carbide to stay sharp longer. Each tooth is ground on all four exposed sides for maximum sharpness. Even though the blade is thinner than standard blades, the body is fully heat-hardened and has computer-mapped cooling vents to maintain trueness.

This blade works great on my porta cable trim saw. It is the one that comes stock when you buy it and I have tried one with more teeth thinking it would work better but it didn't and had a tendon see to bind up and kick back?

The Porter Cable blade is designed for small cordless saws and smaller jamb-type saws. However, I modified the small arbor to fit the arbor on my grinder. It works well, even though not originally designed for this purpose.
