If you own the Porter Cable 7424 Polisher the addition of the PC 18001 6-inch 6-hole hook and loop standard pad allows you to have the equivalent PC 7336 Sander - giving you in effect two separate machines. It should also be noted that the Porter-Cable 73333 Dust Collection System works with the 7424 Polisher if the 18001 standard pad in attached for sanding.

If you have a porter cable polisher/sander then you need this to be able to use the Meguiars 6.5inch polishing pads. I've used this for about 8 hours yesterday and its holding up fine and the pads adhere great to it just make sure you get the pad centered on it.

This accessory turns our random orbital grinder into a car buffer. I used the last pad so much on vehicles, our boat, and most recently our motorhome, that I began to wear our the rubber sides. Thanks for making the product accessible and at a fair price too.

I purchased a porter-cable 6" random orbit sander many years ago, and with time and use the pad rubber started breaking down. Also, I was never happy with the stick on sanding pads because the quality of the glue was uneven. I've had some pad become so stuck that it was difficult to remove them. The last few times I used the sander, I was very disappointed. I decided to replace the pad, and purchased this hook and loop pad for about $20, getting rid of the sticky pad. What an improvement. I would recommend that everyone with the old stick pads try the hook and loop system. It has given new life to my old sander. Tool King shipped promptly and had a great price.

Works great with my PC polisher! Good value for money. I would buy again. Hook and loop makes switching pads easier.

Like the other reviewer, my old one rotted away. His took 12 years, mine took about 2 years and I barely used it. So here to amazon, for the best price on a replacement for it! PS... Now that I wrote this review, I can honestly say I learned that my polisher can be a sander, which the other guy stated. Who Knew, I just never thought to use it as a sander, but it probably will work just fine, thanks for the tip!

The original pad on my sander basically rotted away, which annoyed me greatly until I found this replacement on Amazon. I use the sander as a buffer to apply and remove waxes and polishes from my cars, so I assume that the moisture from the pads were the primary reason the thing fell apart after only 12 years or so.

I was thrilled to find the replacement here, and at the best price as well. It fits perfectly and I'm happy once again!

These replace the hook and loop pads that come on the original disk. These are peel and stick pads and they work great.

I had a lot of vibration in my Porter-Cable random orbit sander. I replaced the hook and loop pad and WA LA the vibration was gone.

This item completes my buffer to a great orbital sander. I use it for refinishing my Hi Macs (type of corian) counter tops as over time and hard use they need to be renewed. You must have special sanding paper 1200 to 1500 to do this.
