I used this sander to refinish the pine floor in our cabin followed by a Waterlox finish. It is beautiful. This sander has good weight (for doing a floor) and seems quite well built. No downward pressure is required, just hold onto it so it doesn't go off to the races. With a floor, I would look at this as the minimum sander required. A dedicated floor sander that costs thousands of dollars would be better. The realty is that because of the weight, this may be the only time I use the sander. (I still saved a lot of money by doing it myself.) I doubt many other sanders of this type would do as well. I found 120 Grit sandpaper to be the best on my application. In places I started with 80 Grit, but it just meant more work re-sanding later with the 120. I rigged a hose to my shop vac and that really helped (it has a bag). You have to unclog the channel that takes up the sawdust from time to time, mainly because there's a lot of sawdust.

I've had this sander for several years. This is the newer version of mine. I use it mostly to strip cabinets. Makes quick work of it. It can be a little heavy for alot of vertical sanding but that weight is perfect for horizontal applications. Dust bag is decent but I like to connect it to my 2 1/2 portable vacuum. Use Shop-Vac 9068700 Universal Tool Adapter and cut off the last two rings and it slides onto the sander. I use a hose clamp to secure it and it never comes off. Belt tracking works flawlessly and changing belts is quick and easy.

When I bought this product it was listed as new , I have a feeling that it is refurbished .... The first day I tried it and everytime since , it has shocked me !!! ??? Go figure ??? All I have used it for is with wood . Its shock is like static electricity only a lil stronger !??? Other than that it's a great tool ! OHHH , one other thing it didn't come with a dust collection bag . Had to call manufacture to get one !!!

This is how sanders are supposed to work! Lots of HP, good weight, tracks straight, flush sanding, good dust collection, moderate noise and it never gets tired. Buy it if you are man enough to hang on!

I was very pleased with the belt sander. It was shipped very quickly. It was just like the one that I had previously owned. Hopefully it lasts as long as the last one I had.

The sander recieved is the axact tool described, received in a brand new condition. The delivery had been done fast with no complication at all.
