I have owned two of these sanders. The one I just purchased was number two. I absolutely wore out the first one. i do a lot of sanding on various projects and by a lot I mean hundreds of hours. I used the first one for cabinet work and it worked error free for about 500 hours and then a bearing began to get noisy so it's off to be rebuilt. I could not do without a sander because I was in the middle of a huge project and bought this one. It is a little heavier which is ok and has higher rpm which is great. I really like this sander and would recommend it to anyone. Attached to a shop vac there is just no dust, but the filters do need to be cleaned fairly often to keep the suction up. It's a great sander!
