Ok lets face it corded tools are always superior then there portable batteried power counter parts. But i had to write this review because of first hand accounts. I do HVAC work and sometimes that means taking down an old cooling tower or chiller setup. Breaking them down. Demo-work as some of u kno it as. And the saw ive used and counted on: is the p.c. tiger saw. Ya ive used DeWalt, Milwaukee, Makita, Hitachi, saws before. But the tiger saw i can truley say is my fav. First loading the blade is way eazier then any other saw. Second durablity and reliablity are A1. Top of the line. Heres an example justa little sample: one time i am inside two cooling towers full of water. Cranes downstairs setting up to take the towers down. Im inside cutting the middle piece of the towers that connects both towers together. Im almost waste deep in water cutting what i think is steel but endsup being stainless. But my tiger saw never gave up, it went through blade after blade. Now im sure your saying "so what, your an idiot for not knowing what kinda metal your cutting". But heres the kicker. I dropped the saw in the water and electrocuted myself like a dumbass. And guess what i picked up the tiger saw and it kept tryin to cut that stainless, wet and all, i was amazed! IT NEVER GAVE UP! Until i put it down and picked up a cutting tourch.

I have owned this sawzall for quite some time and it is quite good. Cuts very fast due to the long stroke and the rotary blade action.
Down falls are 1. the weight, very heavy unit, and 2.the twist lock to attach the blades to the shaft won't accept the thicker blades that are available. I have snapped the shaft off on this unit and had to have it rebuilt. Even so, I would still rate this tool right up at the top. Use a sawzall with a shorter cutting stroke alongside this one and you will be throwing it out the window. One last complaint, the case is much to small. As a contractor want to have at least 20 assorted blades with me at all times, and lucky to get 5 blades in the case BUY IT !
