Product Description

From the Manufacturer

Porter-Cable FC350 Clipped Head Framing Nailer Kit

From the Manufacturer

Reload less often with a clipped-head framing nailer and reduce down time. The rugged aluminum magazine on this nailer has a capacity of 97 nails, compared to 72 for the round head framing nailer. This increases the time between reloads by 34-inch. It will fire paper-tape collated nails from .113-inch by 2-inch to .131-inch by 3-1/2-inch. The adjustable depth-of-drive allows setting the nail to the proper depth for the job. A barbed nose aids in toe nailing, preventing slippage so the nail is driven where intended. A rubber footpad is included to cover the barbed nose and prevent damage when nailing decking and sheathing. The exhaust port is muffled to reduce noise and is adjustable. A 3/8-inch quick coupler comes installed on the nailer, but a 1/4-inch quick coupler is also included for versatility. Includes framing nailer, carrying case, 1/4-inch male quick coupler plug with dust cap, oil, Allen wrenches, and operator's manual. NOTE: This nailer comes with a bump-fire trigger standard. A restrictive-fire trigger, which requires releasing the trigger between firings for more control, is available free-of-charge by calling 1-800-321-9443. Please provide the model number and serial number of each nailer requiring a trigger. For identification purposes, the bump-fire trigger is black and the restrictive-fire trigger is red.

Good gun, but be careful with it. Has a tendency to double fire with the regular trigger. Thought I was getting the hang of it, until I put a nail an inch and a half into the side of my hand. Got the restrictive trigger immediately after that and have not had any trouble since. I have several nailers and this is the only one that I have ever had a problem with double firing. Do yourself a favor and get the red trigger from the start. Only take a few seconds to change out.

I borrowed this nailer from a friend because I was building a work bench for the garage. It really kicked out the nails! They went through the 3/4" MDF and 2x4s like butter. It is a bit akward because of of it's size, but I did like the angled magazine which allows eaiser access to corners. I am looking to pick one up for myself soon, as I have a shelving project for the garage.
