Well made lifetime tool. I use it to cut off sheet metal, exhaust pipes, small grinding jobs.

This porter-cable is a nice tool for any workshop. Of course, it is not professional grade, but neither is the price. I just used it for the first time to cut 1/4" off a gate latch since the fence had moved with the winter snow and the latch was hitting the receiver. It was 1/4" steel and it cut through it fine with no problems. The handle operation is a bit awkward, so I deducted one star for that.

I bought this tool based on past experience with Porter Cable. This cut off tool has about as much torque as a dentist drill! It looks nice, just don't expect much from it. I needed it to cut off several 1/4 inch screws that were rusted. I never applied any pressure and the grinder still would stop. A complete waste of money.

Tool has too little power to do much.
Runs ok - looks ok.

For home use it will last a lifetime, bearings are tight and is comfortable to use, I rate the Porter-Cable, Bosch and Dewalt the best in tools, you can't go wrong with these products.
