porterhouse is an amazing musical journey. the 80 minutes may pass quickly, but in retrospect you realize how far you've actually traveled. i highly reccomend it.

I loved Homegrown, and I love Porterhouse. It's UPbeat, lively, non-stop, and it makes me happy. Load this into your Ipod and go off power-walking!

The first incredible compilation disc from Steve Porter on Chris Fortier & Neil Kolo's Fade Record label cannot be classified into style, sound or genre. And on this disc, that's a great thing. From the nine original tracks from Porter to the seventeen other tracks chosen from an astonishing 300+ submissions, this album blends every sound imaginable to form a decidingly interesting sound which can only be referred to as PORTERHOUSE.

Since this album features 26 tracks there are no overdrawn bland blends between 10 minute tracks which is a refreshing twist on the incalculable compilation cd's out nowadays that feature endless volume fade cross-overs blending 10 random tracks. Instead, each track selected on this album comes on, punches you in the face, shakes your groin and moves on.

An incredible disc that will change what you expect from any house compilation cd to come.
