Another excellent adventure of Chief Morrissey,
This review is from: A Portion For Foxes: A Chief Inspector Morrissey Mystery (Mass Market Paperback)
The whole series is a lot of fun to read--the characters are not perfect lending a sense of reality to the stories. You find yourself wishing Chief Morrissey would do the right thing by his family; wanting him to get a break from his job so that he can set things right. He is a hero, but not a perfect one, as are his colleagues and family. Kay Mitchell also writes under Sarah Lacey--a light-hearted funny set of mysteries that are also worth the read!!!
