Lovely Clock from England
I was very pleased with the appearance of this lovely earthenware clock, made in England. It keeps perfect time and the colors blend in nicely with my other kitchen decorations and colors. It was easy to hang up too.

Not what I thought
Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in this clock. For the price, I was surprised how cheap it was. There is no glass over the face of the clock and it did not keep time at all. I just painted my kitchen white and green and thought this would look great. However, I returned it within one week of receipt.

This is basically a quartz movement attached to a beautiful, hand-painted Portmeirion china plate. The decoration is very well done - beautiful dark and pale greens on a creamy china background (the colors are pretty true to the picture.) It would look fantastic in a country kitchen, and would perk up a colorless one.

This is a beautiful time piece. It's about 11 inch around. It's a little heavy so make sure you place it on a secure hook or find a wall stud to nail on. Otherwise it will pull out of the wall, it's that heavy.

The clock was very lovely but unfortunately did not fit on the wall above the doorway. We had to return it!
