I love being able to warm my tea up and still be able to handle the mug. I also like to warm my cream in the cup before pouring in coffee-warms the cream but you can still handle the mug. And I received all six individual absolutely beautiful mugs!

Easy to drink out of, large enough for soup or cereal, colorful, beautiful, and best of all..not made in China. I love them!!

I ordered a set of these mugs thinking they were coffee mugs. They hold 14 ounces so be sure you are aware of this before you order!

Please confirm this issue for me. Several people trying to seek legal action against your company relating to creating false sales trick on the Amazon site. Specifically an item listed as follow: "Portmeirion Botanic Garden Bristol Mug, Set of 6"

According to the detail description on the sales site, it supposedly consists of six mugs. The total weight per set was at 5 pounds and the discount was more than 88%. However, many received only one mug instead of six mugs. This was not a first time Macy put this item on the site.

To protect my rights and others at same situations, I have made copy of the site. I am sure, everyone expecting same deal from your company as any other companies promoting themselves at the Amazon dot com.

These are my favorite mugs ever! I love the size for my coffee in the morning. They are beautiful. Do not find the size to be a handicap but I did appreciate being informed by one customer of the size so I was prepared.

Lovely mugs, very large size, much larger than traditional mugs. Good quality, patterns are beautiful, all different and appears on both sides. The only drawback is that they seem to stain easier than my other mugs.

I was really thrilled to be able to get a set of these mugs!
They can be difficult to find & get a hold of in Canada - my local store cannot even have them brought in!
The mugs arrived in a timely manner, & they did not cost an arm & a leg!

Macy's advertised this item, and I ordered two sets. They shipped two mugs, and said the ad was a mistake. I would have returned them, but I had to use them as a gift.

Macy's was less than helpful in dealing with me over the issue.

This was not Amazon's fault; Macy's should learn to review their on-line advertising, and stand behind the ads that they place.

My trust in Amazon is still good, but I am determined to steer clear of Macy's both on-line and the retail stores.

I'm new to the Portmeirion collection. But I've read many reviews about their colorful floral designs. My purchase was the Portmeirion Botanic Garden collection. Specifically the Botanic Garden Bristol Mug (set of 6). When mine arrived, instead of vivid floral colors, what I saw were dry, dull colors.

I'm an avid Amazon shopper. But in this one case, the website photos definitely look more colorful than the actual product. These are most certainly an item that should be seen in person before making a decision to purchase.

The stamp at the bottom of the mugs show they are Portmeirion from England.

And due to this being my first exposure to the Portmeirion collection, I'm at a loss to whether the lack of vivid colors is a random fluke of bad luck, or is the standard look for the Portmeirion product.

I've also read that the Portmeirion items are hand painted. However, these look more like applied stencils than hand painted. Though, in my ignorance, when the term "hand painted" is used, it must imply that the actual first produced illustration is hand painted and then a stencil is created from that original design and then applied to the finish product. But that's just an assumption on my part.

In conclusion, the mugs themselves seem to be of satisfactory quality, but the illustrations are where I find fault. Again, instead of vivid, full of life colors as one would expect, the illustration colors are dull and lifeless and look strikingly like an applied stencil. To be perfectly honest, the mugs I received remind me of a product sold in any retail store that sells inexpensive items for a dollar.

At first I caught in my hand from UPS, I was FROZEN to be a ice man.
It is too beautiful to descrive it. Its color and design are very good.
We keep them for serving special guests. And we have a good belief that we will be rich snd happy. Someone told me taat butterflies will give you wealth and good luck.
