Pretty but Salad Server Set is NOT DISHWASHER SAFE and is made in China not Britain. Not for the Portmeirion purist. You have to remember that they need to be washed by hand.

The salad server set was as expected...a nice gift...except for the storage box. The bottom of the badly dented. It was not suitable for a gift.
