quality
I have noticed a lessening in quality to the Pormeirion Botanic Garden line. The china was noticably thinner and the quality of the finish of the decorations was less than my original set bought 25+ years age.

Cute but the pepper shaker constantly clogs
Bought this set a few years ago. While it's cute on the table, the pepper shaker constantly stays clogged. For this reason, I can't recommend the set.

I am pleased with the set I received. I have them out in the kitchen. The price through Amazon is far below Macy's. The item arrived very quickly via the Postal Service. The other item shipped by DHL arrived a week later. If you get the choice, select the Postal Service.I will say that the pepper does not come out all that well unless you get very finely ground pepper but considering the price and the look it is a minor nuisance.

These Salt and Pepper shakers are beautiful. A little bit hard to pick up because of the way they are shaped. The plastic stopper in the bottom is a little hard to get out too. But glad that they are tight or things might spill out later on.Over all I am pleased and the delivery was on time and came in good shape. |
