Les Humphries Singers-Portrait
Most people may not know this is like listening to very early Boney M!! Perhaps this is because Liz Mitchell was in this group (before being in Boney M.) In my opinion, if you enjoy Boney M. songs like "Daddy Cool", "Motherless Child", etc. pick up this album. I think you'll enjoy it.

Not really the best IMO
When I bought this CD a while back I was very disappointed to find only one song of those that I heard and really liked in my youth: Mexico, which is nevertheless an outstanding song. What they should have better done, is to re-release the original German/Holland 72' Decca LP album this song is included in, and similarly titled "Mexico", which has got heaps of rockin',...

When I bought this CD a while back I was very disappointed to find only one song of those that I heard and really liked in my youth: Mexico, which is nevertheless an outstanding song. What they should have better done, is to re-release the original German/Holland 72' Decca LP album this song is included in, and similarly titled "Mexico", which has got heaps of rockin', extremely melodical and catchy songs. You can get a taste of those on [...] All perfect English, no German accents.
