Yuki Kajiura at her best. If you have seen the DVD this soundtrack is for, you will know what I'm on about, and why she is one of the top composers of anime sound tracks in Japan, and the world. If you own the DVD, you must own this OST CD. If you don't own the DVD, or you haven't seen the anime, WHY NOT? This is yet another one you should see before you die.

Petite Cossette is some of Yuki Kajiura's most interesting work. Dark, mysterious, suspensful, it has it all. However, they did not include Ballad on the CD, and it is one of the most beautiful and important songs in the show, hence the removal of two stars.

This OST is hands down my favorite anime soundtrack. The songs have such a richly dark feel that constantly amazes me and keeps me coming back for more. I love to listen to this OST wearing headphones and lying down in a dark room so I can focus on every note, especially on the song Float which floors me every single time. ^-^
