Vintage Richard Smallwood,

Richard Smallwood's music has always been anointed. This album is excellent and full great music. From the upbeat "He's Able" to the solemn "Holy Spirit" the listener is blessed. This album is not easy to come by and I recommend it to gospel music fans and all Richard Smallwood fans.

As a child, I learned to harmonise to his music. This album is one of the most soothing of the Smallwood singers'. The highlight songs are this album are :
1) I Give You Praise - The range of the lead singer's voice is amazing and it beautifully ushers you into the prescene of God to give Him praise. 2) Holy Spirit. Richard Smallwood beautifully invites the Holy Spirit to dwell and live among us. I can almost FEEL the Holy Spirit descending like a dove! He was and still is one of the most complete musicians to date, giving great care to detail, charater and shading in all aspects of his music. No true Richard Smallwood fan should be found lacking this CD. |
