Totally agree with previous reviewer. We've reached a point in our country where corporations are everywhere and the single worker is invisible. These gorgeous photographs of 30 something companies around the country (Nokona gloves, Steinway pianos, guitar, surfboards, toys) still making things by hand is a must have for people who still like to play out in the garage or basement. Absolutely LOVE this book...

This a revelatory book--aesthetically beautifully and politically right-on. We need to celebrate the dying breed of Americans and this celebration is just absoultely stunning. Kudos to Tadd Myers for shining a beautiful light on the craftsman still getting up every morning in our country and getting to work. I'm going to buy these as Xmas presents for some of my friends.

Love the book, Tadd Myers does a great job of selecting craftspeople from various disciplines and highlighting their contributions to the American ability to make things. More of us should be involved in using our hands or at least supporting those that do. Buy American, buy local!!
